Wow... This is a great little speaker! Watch my no talking unboxing and test video to see what you get in the box, and hear the sound quality. Spoilers, it's good. It isn't a $300+ sound, but I think it gave my Bose Soundlink Mini II a run for its money. This thing really puts out some sound. The max volume is loud enough to force my girlfriend out of my computer room lol Impressive if I say so myself. The build quality is good, and it has a nice clothy feel around the mid-portion of the speaker leading to smooth plastic on the ends. On the bottom are 2 rubber feet to absorb vibration, and they do this well. There are 2 subs on either side of the speaker that vibrates immensely. If I put my hand in front of the speaker, I can feel the air being pushed out. I'm overall very impressed with this speaker. When I first used it my reaction was, "Woah...". Very unexpected. I just wanted a speaker that I could bring to work with me and not care as much if it broke or something. My Bose speaker was just shy of $200 when I first purchased it, so I was always a bit worried about bringing it to a construction site, but the Votomy speaker is going to be a great addition to the construction site!

I bought this specifically for the Bluetooth 5.0. It's one of the least expensive speakers I could find with all the features I wanted, that one being at the top of the list. I regularly use a speaker outdoors at the park and sometimes want the speaker farther away from my phone than most speakers can handle (about 30 ft). Bluetooth 5.0 bumps up that range noticeably. Finally I can wander a little farther away from the speaker without the music cutting out. The audio quality is about what you'd expect. A little light on the bass, maybe, but otherwise it sounds very good for the size and it gets quite loud without noticeable distortion. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
