Thanks to Covid-19, my daughter had to take all of her dance classes remotely at home. Unfortunately sometimes the instructor was really difficult to hear even if we had the laptop volume maxed out. I found this bluetooth speaker and it suited my needs really well. This speaker has 30W output which most bluetooth speakers do not. This translates to loud!!! I had tried another bluetooth speaker that I already had and it simply did not make anything better. However, with this speaker, the sound was much louder. Sound quality wise I had no complaints - music came out great. I have not had a chance to test it out at the pool yet, nor have I tried to use it as a battery to recharge my phone, though that is a great little feature. The battery itself seems to last a long time - I've used it a dozen or so times and have not had to recharge yet, though not looking to push my luck. Some people said the string was not included, but I found mine underneath the packaging (see picture) so it's definitely included, just not obvious. Glad I purchased this speaker and I will not be going back to my old bluetooth speakers as this one blows them away by a mile!

I listen to a lot of podcast and youtube video, since I'm now stuck at home most of the time, I was looking for a portable speaker that fits the bill. Came across this Votomy 30W speaker, the design reminds me a lot of JBL Charge series speaker, it fact, it was quite a bit smaller than my other Charge 3 speaker. The tonality is very well balanced, it does get quite loud if you turn it all the way up. Bass is deep and punchy and is not especially overwhelming with quantity. Overall not bad for most of the pop music. Thanks to the newer bluetooth 5.0 technology, it can easily reach 30+ ft without drop in connection. To name a few useful feature: 1. Auto shutoff 2. Music still plays while it's charging 3. It auto connects when the speaker is powered on 4. Long battery life (I was able to play it on and off for days with a single charge) I haven't tested the IP67 waterproof rating but it's always good to know that it has that feature. The speaker has everything you can ask for on a portable speaker, wished that it comes with a carrying case or a travel pouch but I wouldn't ding too much for that. The speaker itself compares favorably to JBL counterpart (feels like in between a Flip and a Charge). Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend anyone that's looking for a portable music solution.
